The Western Australian media are also recognised by the awards for positive reporting on young people through the WA Youth Awards - Media Reporting.

The WA Youth Awards acknowledge the role the media play informing public opinion about young people and youth issues in our community.

The Awards encourage the media to take a lead by responsibly and realistically reporting on young people and youth issues.
