Cockburn Youth Services provides advocacy, support and information for young people aged 10 to 24 years, and their families, who reside in the City of Cockburn. Case work services for young people aged 10 to 18 years who are at risk. Group programs are provided for young people up to the age of 24. The Cockburn Youth Centre has recently opened, providing a safe space for young people to come and hang out, participate in formal and informal activities and link with youth workers. The Centre includes a music recording / jam space, computer room, multi-purpose performance space, multi-purpose activity space, hang out zone, outdoor area with basketball, skate wall and stage. Other youth support services are located in the building - Youth Reach South, St John of God Counselling Service and the Strong Families project for the Greater Fremantle region. The Cockburn Volunteer Resource Centre is also located in the building.
